These are scheduled free tours* held during the warmer months when our animals are out on pasture and the herbs are growing. During a Farm Tour & Wild Herb Walk, we will talk about how the sun powers the grass, and how the grass powers the animals, and how the animals power the garden, and so on; They are all connected. As we go about the farm learning how the animals live on the land and how they in turn keep the land alive, we will also stop to look at wild plants (most of which you can find in your yard at home) that can be used to fend off coughs and colds , herbs for skin care, and herbs for vitality.  This will also give you a chance to see the herbs that we use to create our handcrafted herbal skin care products.

*While we do encourage an open door policy on our farm, we do ask you to call ahead and remember to respect the privacy of our home. A scheduled tour is the best & safest way to see things... our pigs are very gentle, but also very large; our dog takes her job seriously if we are not home; and we can point out all the poison ivy patches before you step in them! You are welcome to come and visit our farm anytime, but we are quite busy from early spring til late fall, so we may not have time to give unannounced guided tours. Which is precisely why we schedule them! Private tours can be booked in advance, cost is $30 per tour. Scheduled tours are free, as are tours for customers picking up their orders.

We love to help people find sources of real, flavourful, unprocessed food. We make and grow many things on our farm, but can’t make it all. To this end we offer access to a natural and organic food co-op, access to cow share programs, Kefir grain starter kits, and more.
